I worked with Bob over the course of about a year on a web UI project that required integrations with mapping and blockchain. Since the blockchain and geolocation/mapping aspects were new to him I expected a long road as Bob learned new things and attempted the integrations. To my astonishment, things I expected to take months, instead took weeks, or sometimes even mere days. The quality of his work was also notable – very few bugs in initial drops.But the best thing about working with Bob, was his personality. His willingness to fearlessly wade into new, unfamiliar territory. His constant refrain of, “this is what makes programming fun!” His desire to be a team player, passing along what he had learned to others and his humility in thoughtfully integrating things he learned from others into his work.

Bob worked with me for several months on a VB.NET software development project for one of my clients. He took on several very complex tasks to integrate third party VOIP and credit card processing components into an already partially-built application.
